- New shower curtains are coming this summer!
- $250 given to the Mabee to purchase equipment for students to check out for use.
- Gave $500 to Honduras Project to purchase an electrical  transformer
- Gave $500 to the Pryor Legacy Class

what exactly does student senate do?

    - Attend Trustee Meetings, providing representation and voice to the Student Body.
    - Pursue projects throughout the year. Often times, these address minor issues on Jewell's campus ranging from extending library hours or addressing cafeteria menus to improving the conditions of residence halls. Other times, Senate pursues larger projects; in times past Jewell's Student Senate helped shape and submit Jewell's Honor Code and Alcohol Policy, for example.
    - Increase school spirit and community
    - Provide a voice to the students by addressing issues facing the WJC community, taking feedback and presenting suggestions to faculty
    - Host Security Grievances and Town Hall Meetings
